You can Customize Leave Types and Policies at the User Level.
- To set the Leave Types and Leave Policies at the user level, select the user from the Users menu.
- Under Leave Settings in the Users profile, click the Edit icon in the Leave Types and Leave Policies’ section.

Check the box next to the leave type and select a leave policy for each leave type to add them to your company. These leave types and policies will be available for all users.
To set it specifically for each user - you need to add or remove the leave types while editing a user.
Leave Types that do not require a leave balance to apply, need not have a leave policy attached to it.
You can also set a User level Approval path.
